Welcome to BYC.
Does your Jack Russell get on with the chickens and does it catch rats?

It took us a couple of months for them to get on, we had two when we first got the chickens but we lost one before Christmas, as sad as it was she lived to 16 1/2 years old and had a great life bless her. Gizmo took the longest to be able to safely let out by himself. He still gives the odd look now and again but has never hurt them. He smells the mice out when they are coming for the scraps in the chicken cage but has never caught one yet. Hes managed to catch a baby rabbit on the estuary near us once but he let go when it squealed!
