Hello, I'm a new member!
I bought my first chicks I'm March and have learned so much since then! I love owning poultry and hope to someday expand my flock to consist of more species of poultry, I'd love to own waterfowl, turkeys, and guineas someday! I've been lurking here for awhile and I'm happy to have finally joined.

Chickens really are the "gateway" to more poultry -- at least they were for me. I started with chickens, fell in love with runner ducks and added two lonely little (at the time!) goslings who were in a feed store brooder.

There are distinct differences in what the species like and need, but they are all great birds!
