Hi everybody!

I have been looking at so much info on this forum in the past weeks, and I have finally taken the time to register and say hi...

I live in the woods with my husband and my dog ''Felony'', up north from Montreal in the province of Quebec in Canada...

I got my first chickens last july...2 ''columbian rock x red'' and 3 barred plymouth rock from a hatchery in Ontario...all pullets, not laying yet though!! I keep them for eggs and me and my husband want to raise chickens for ''the freezer'' next spring!

I raised my chicks in my dog cage for their first weeks then moved them to a coop I built for them....I will post some pics when I have a bit of time!

Looking forward to more learning and talking on the forum. Thanks so much for all the info and you all seem very nice too
