I just found this forum and I became a new member.
I have no chickens now but in the future I want some along with some rabbits.
I'm not really new to chickens. I grew up on a farm where at times we had as many as 60-70 free range chickens. Back in those days you gathered your eggs through the week and on Saturday you took your excess and sold them at the feed store in town. We kept the eggs in a couple of those old egg crates that were popular back then. Mom and dad stopped doing this by the time I was seven. I was not sure why but now I'd speculate that the law must changed and the practice banned. It was a good way to make a little extra money.
I'm looking forward to posting occasionally here.
