(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I'm brand new and just got my flock this month!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have 8 hens.
(3) What breeds do you have? Buff Orpingtons and Rhode Island Reds
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? They are so entertaining to watch! I love seeing my kids experience the journey of chicken keeping, too!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I enjoy writing (just published my first novel), I'm learning how to bake, and I have a garden.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I've got 2 elementary aged kids and a husband who help me navigate my micro farming dreams!
That's a nice way of putting I'm dragging the 3 of them along for mom's ever growing shenanigans

Found y'all on Facebook and referenced in several chicken books. I joined because I was visiting the site daily with questions so I might as well join!
