hi everyone. could anyone please tell me what breed my cockerel is. thank you

He's a red chicken. He doesn't/wouldn't qualify as any specific breed. He's likely got Rhode Island Red blood, perhaps some brown Leghorn, perhaps a bit of New Hampshire or production red.

Remember, all breeds are composites of several foundational breeds to create a certain, defined look, shape, size, color and so forth. If the composite mix is "correct", that composite is given a breed name and a standard description is written for the breed by the American Poultry Association.

This bird is also a composite of many birds from it's parentage, reaching back hundreds of years. But the result is that he doesn't show or present as any particular breed nor match the standard for any specific breed. He's just a mix that doesn't match anything.

If you like him? That is all that matters.
