If they are crowing, they are roosters. Hens have been know to crow, but it's exceedingly rare and almost always a older hen (3-4 years) who has assumed the role of a rooster in a flock with no roosters.

Lol that would be my luck. I have 3 already at least they all get along. I don't have problems with them fighting. It's funny how she/he crows they are newbies I just got 4 more but they are almost grown. The female I'm talking about is the biggest hen too!
