Thank you letting me join this group. My husband and I live in rural Oregon with 4 large dogs, a cat, and first time with 13-3 weeks old rambunctious rascals. I have two Lavender Orpington (1 Roo),1 Brown Leghorn, 2 Rhode Island Blue,2 Olive Egger, 2 Cuckoo Marans, 2 Americana, and 2 Barnevelder. So far, they are all doing well.
I always wanted chickens and a rooster. We have many chickens in the neighborhood and I love listening to them.
I had not idea how much there is to owning chickens so I have lots to learn.
I already have gotten so much good advice and information from this group.

Welcome. So happy you have a rooster. They are awesome. Many people give up on roosters when they get to mating age because they don't understand roosters. As you know, everything that is really worth it requires work.
