Thank you , I have actually upgraded more since that photo was taken. I need to take some more photos of my set up. It has been a learn as I go sort of thing but I did do a lot of research before I started building. I also make my own cages. It really is a fun hobby and I have always enjoyed working with my hands
Hi there back at ya ! Since I live in suburbia Quail just seemed to make more sense for me to raise . They are quieter than chickens and easier to clean up after. The initial cost to set up for raising 100 or so quail at a time was around 600.00 but I have expanded quite a bit over the last four years adding a totally insulated 6' x 8' air conditioned - heated incubation and feed storage building. I am retiring this year and I plan on changing a couple of other things to my operation.. Always willing to share what I have learned...
