More Progress, run is extended to 16X8 plus the 4X8 under the coop so 20X8.
The chicken wire is temporary, 2 sides will be chain link. The other 2 hardware mesh.

Wiring is now complete, it has 2 heat lamps and inside and outside lights that turn on out front. Siding is almost done, roof is on, steps are up, etc.

There are several things about it that are temporary, power is supplied by the extension cord seen above, the roosts will be taken out and moved higher and run lengthwise instead of across when the chicks get a little bigger, etc,.

Also since I have read about several people worrying about their chicks figuring out the ramp, I will post this pic again as it is something I obviously got right. Within 5 minutes of opening the door all 19 chicks had descended into the run. About 1/2 hour before sunset I checked on them and 13 had already made their way back inside. After the first night they needed no help or coaxing. I owe it to a couple of things that may be helpful.
1. I kept the angle very gentle.
2 I made the cross slats very close so they had ample purchase with tiny feet and legs.
3.I only purchased gifted and intelligent birds, lol.
