Hi everyone! I'm new to the hen house lol

I take the eggs daily from her. From research I've done prior to joining this group I heard brooding can last about 21 days. What do you suggest I do?
Brooding lasts until the hen is broken, she hatches eggs or she dies.
She should be locked in a small wire dog crate that is elevated about 4 to 8 inches off the coop floor so air can circulate under her. Keep fresh water and food in there with her. A piece of 2x4 to sit on to get off the wire floor is good.
She needs to stay in that crate day and night for 3 days.
Because this has been going on for so long, you may also need to dunk her belly in cool water, put her back in the crate and put a fan across her to cool her belly more. Repeat a few times a day.
After 3 days and nights have past you can let her out and monitor her to ensure she doesn't go back to the nest. If she does, put her back in the crate for another day and night.
You can crate her in the coop so Hopper won't be alone.

Broody, with non-fertile eggs, is such a pain in the bumm! Good luck!
