We live in North Texas, in the suburbs. Over the summer we got 5 darling Easter Eggers who are about 7 months now. They are adorable and entertaining, and as a bonus they lay awesome eggs!
In these few months they’ve already given me some heartburn. One girl had what I thought was frostbite. Then another girl had one bubbly eye that lasted two days then was gone. And most recently, one had a weird little lump on her beak. It fell off 2 days ago and several “layers” came off with it. Ugh. All that said, we’re in love.
I’ve been looking things up on this site since long before we got our little flock and it’s already been so helpful.
When I’m not fussing over the girls, we love to travel and garden!
