(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
- My family and I have had chickens for about nine years now.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
- We started with a flock of 27 but now have two currently.

(3) What breeds do you have?
- We’ve raised Dominiques, Buckeyes, Buff Orpingtons and Rhode Island Reds.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
- One of the best things about raising chickens I have found is how much personality they have, I love them so much.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
- I make a lot of artwork, my favorite mediums are probably drawing and printmaking.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
- My family are big animal lovers, we have a horse, two cats, fish, a turtle and of course chickens!

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
- We found BYC while searching for answers in treating one of our chickens that was unwell and for many years have learned a lot from this community. It made sense to finally join! I also have some questions about one of our chickens that I’ll share in a different post.
