If cats are kept indoors, they need exercise and entertainment. Trying getting him toys that he can play with like the feathers on a string so he can attack it instead of you or the other animals. They also like to get up high so maybe a climbing tree or something that he can climb up and perch near a window preferably.

Welcome!! Do you know the cats background (animals he might have been in contact with, or reason for new forever home)? Is there any way you can build a run for the chicks and ducks, and let them free when the cat is inside? Good luck, and hope the best

I am not sure if it would work with your cat, but what I did with mine is I took some hens and particularily my roo and made them "attack the cats" .I would grab the birds and spread their wings and swing them towards the cats to make them "fly", then grab their head and make a pecking motion. The cats were so freaked out after that and are absolutely terrified of the chickens, and I mean terrified. It worked like a charm!
