Hi everyone. My name is Photina. I am a returning member to Backyard Chickens. I am not new to raising chickens, but I have an almost new flock this year. We have 22 chickens in various numbers of midnight majesties, americaunas, buff brahmas (regular and bantam), sapphire gems, sapphire splashes, cinnamon queens, and mille fleur d'uccle. We also have four dogs (3 brittany spaniels and 1 labradoodle) and 2 cats.
We have 5 in our family and a bunch of extracurricular activities. Our three teenagers are involved in FIRST robotics, drama, college courses, art, 4-H and Girl Scouts. I am very involved in Girl Scouts, in community groups in our area, and mentoring. I work at a university for an Army ROTC program and it allows be to be connected in our community and I love that. We also love kayaking, camping, hiking, and being outdoors.
