hi everyone....so new that i dont think i've hatched yet

we've started up a inner suburban coop with a hand reared rooster, 1 silkie, 1 wheaten and 2 icebergs...and what was supposed to be a female sussex - looking more like a rooster!
My 10yr olds silkie has hatched her 1 only egg and we now have a 1week old chic living in our back room in thier private accommodation suite...learning hard and fast about rearing chooks...always happy to take advice.
