we just got 6 buff orphington hens (supppsedly)from rko still have to build a coop. we're new to all of this so thanks in advance for all your help!

Welcome to BYC and to the wonderful world of chicken-keeping. Definitely time to get building - folks are often very surprised at just how fast those fuzzy little chicks grow and it's easy to reach the point of them being ready to move out (and you being ready for them to move out) before the coop is ready. I move mine out at about 5 weeks. You won't be disappointed with your girls, you can't beat buff orps for friendliness.

What x are you doing sitting on the computer? Get busy and get that coop built LOL before you know it they will be giving you eggs. PS MAKE SURE YOU BUILD THE COOP EXTRA BIG CAUSE YOU WILL WANNNNTTTT MOOREEE' LOL TRUST ME ON THIS
