Morning all ...🙋‍♀️ Thought I would join us here after reading some good advice posts from the site over the past few days.
we are pretty new to chicken keeping after a visit to the farm to get some eggs that our 15 year old lad is working at while off school . We have 4 girls ( hopefully lol ) Pippa, ally , coco and tango....all cheeky little chickens at only 4/5 weeks old but certainly made a stamp on our family already only 5 days in Haha.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
You may want to consider an upgrade from chicken wire to 1/2" hardware cloth. Chicken wire will keep the chickens in but not much out.
Thankyou for the lovely welcome .
Yes the run we have at the moment is a daytime one for now till we get back off holiday , then getting a propper coop and run sorted . The girls sleep in the top half of a double rabbit hutch at night that's in the rabbit shed till we get a little more organised as we wasn't really looking to get any chickens we kind of got given them on a spur 🤦‍♀️. We are away in our tourer caravan next week so they are coming with us in a extra large dog crate to sleep in at night ....all fun and games this week trying to get them sorted then going away 😂
