Hello everybody hope you are all staying safe
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? No I'm not new to chickens I used to run a chicken farm 20 plus years ago this is however the first time I have owned chickens.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? we have a flock of 8 chickens
(3) What breeds do you have? That's an interesting question, some people say they are Ginger nut rangers, others say they are Suffolk browns. As long as they lay eggs for my wife and daughter I'm not bothered as I don't eat eggs anyway.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? My son likes to cuddle the chickens and ours are very friendly myself im happy using the chicken shit for compost.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I have an allotment and vegetable garden where I grow all manner of different things. when im not at work or on the allotment im out fishing
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Quick run down I have wife 2 sons and a daughter and a whole host of other animals
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
