(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am brand new to my own chickens. Starting with 4 chicks this spring.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? will have 4 chicks this week
(3) What breeds do you have? Buff Orpington, Cream Legbar, Olive Egger, French Black Copper Marans
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Not sure yet!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? horses, hiking, cooking
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am married, we have 3 dogs, 2 horses, and soon to be 4 chickens! I work as a Program Director for a substance abuse treatment facility. I foxhunt and event with my horse.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Google! I need the hive mind to help me learn all about how to take great care of my new family members!
