Hello! My husband and I have been thinking about getting chickens for a few years and finally pulled the trigger last month. We have 6 hens - 1 Orpington (Goldie), 1 Rhode Island White (Eloise), 2 Golden Comets (Dolly and Hazel) and 2 Starlight Green Eggers (Henrietta and Dixie). It’s been so fun watching their little personalities come out over the past 5 weeks.
In addition to loving these precious chicks being around all the time, we’re excited to share eggs with our family, friends and co-workers later this year.
Each day, I have new questions about raising chicks and this site has continued to be the number one resource for answers. Thank you!!
