Hi everyone, my daughter (Lucy) and I (shelly) have been raising chickens for about 8 yrs now we try to keep our flock at about 20. We have variety of breeds, we love all of our feathered friends no matter the breeds, all of our chickens are pretty friendly my daughter enjoys just hanging out in the coop with them for hours, they all have names and yes, I know them all! Haha we really enjoy reading all of the posts and seeing all the pics, and learning new things everyday! We also have horses, dogs, bunnies, fish, a Guinea pig and a cat! We love our animals and it’s our lil piece of heaven and our get away from everyday life. Is it hard work? Absolutely but it keeps us busy and happy!
