I’m Jeana and I had chickens as a girl and again when I was home before my children started school. I have a little experience, but not nearly enough l knowledge. My kids are grown and I decided to get another flock. On July 2022. I got a small flock of Mottled Javas. I have 1 rooster and 5 hens.
We live in a rural setting so no problems having a rooster. I also like to garden and read. I’m a librarian so I guess reading is a given lol.
I love all animals (well most) but there is just something about chickens that is unique.
