My name is Grace and I am a new chicken mom. I live in a small town in south Georgia USA. I am a kindergarten teacher. We hatched chicken eggs in May as a class project. I was already planning to start raising chickens so I decided to take the hatched chicks home to start my flock. The eggs came from my sisters barnyard mix so I'm not sure of the exact bread mix of those. I'm not even sure if they are pullets or cockerels. I did purchase some 3 legbar pullets from a local farm so I would know I at least had hens. I found this group through google search trying to answer several different questions I have had. I thought since most of the questions send me here I should join so I can read posts and post questions myself to learn more. I'm looking forward to learning from experienced members.
