Hi everyone, I'm Wavey.

I've had chickens for years and love them very much! Currently, we have 5 very beautiful girls: an Australorp, Araucana, Maran, Pekin Bantam Frizzle (we believe), and one unknown mix. My favourite thing about raising backyard chickens is definitely the snuggles. Apart from taking care of the girls, I love art, hockey and getting out into nature. After reading many threads on here for advice and seeing how lovely the community is, I have finally decided to join!

Field hockey or ice hockey? I played ice hockey for many years (if I didn't live so far from a rink, I'd still be playing!)

Fun! The closest to field hockey I played was lacrosse. Field hockey seems like it would be hard (to hit the ball! ) I kind of picked up you weren't from the US, only because we call Pekins "Cochins". (Not sure if they call them Pekins in the UK?) Anyways, thanks for the reply! I hope you enjoy it here!
