Cockerels are very unpredictable and sometimes can seem outright mean, until adulthood, and even then, sometimes some are just not going to be what we want. I read an excellent article here written by one of our members. It's lengthy but so insightful and informative. If you have time, I'd give it a read. Understanding Your Rooster, by @Shadrach

I believe @Shadrach has saved the lives of many a good cockerel. I know he has saved a few around here. ❤️
