(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes. My hubby had chickens growning up but I'm new at this. We were joking one day with my dad about getting some chickens and the next day he showed up at our house and told us were were going to build a coop. Can't say no to your daddy, no matter how old you are...

We have three Plymouth Rocks

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like to sew and read and garden. My hubby plays with some old truck in the garage and keeps our 1880's house from falling down. But I don't have time to do much besides chase children.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We have two girls, a three year old and an 9 month old. About two years ago we bought an old house to 'restore'. Before the girls were born I worked as a Social Worker and my hubby works for a car manufacturer We have a crazy busy life and we love it!
