Hi, I joined this site because my husband and I have started trying to hatch out our chicken and quail eggs, and we just love birds and were happy to find a helpfull site! We have a bunch of chickens- including my "babies" I raised from last years chicks that have FINALY started laying!!!!!!!!!! yay!!!!!!!!! nothing better than finding that first egg!!! Anyway, I was wondering if anyone on here is from louisiana and might have some info on local chicken swaps/shows, ect? I grew up with laying hens, but it would be nice to find other people who are more experienced with the different breeds, I've had several diffrent breeds in the past, but theres just sooooooooooo many chickens!!!
