Welcome, glad you joined us.

Congrats on your new flock, really love the names you selected.

I use sand in my coop and run, but live in Georgia, USA. IMO you should investigate what folks in your country use for bedding.

Sorry, I couldn't find a forum for the answer, but there are quite a number of BYC in UK. You could post the question under managing your flock to see what input you get. Or search UK and post a question on those threads?

Good luck with all.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join our flock. Sand and pine shavings are the most commonly used materials on coop floors by BYC members. I used to have some Pekin Bantams and they were sweet, friendly, and gentle little birds. My children made lap pets of them. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your Pekin Bantams.
