Hello everyone!

My name is Dyna and I'm new here

I don't have any chickens right now (or any other pets for that matter) but I hope I will one day when my life is more stable.

I joined now because I'm looking for humane sources of chicken feathers for a costume. I don't want to support the factory farming industry or cruelty to animals

The best time to get loads of feathers is late summer to fall during molts. Even a small flock drops buckets of them.
