Hi there, I'm a new member but long-time reader.

My name is Ali, and I just turned 21. I currently own 6 hens.

I have 2 Rhode Island Reds, 2 Plymouth Rocks, one White Leghorn, and one that I *think* is an Orpington. My mother got me the chickens as a present, and I've raised them since they were 6 days old. Currently, they're about 3 years old.

I have been having a bit of trouble with them lately, so I'll be posting about that shortly (on a separate thread, I guess? Still new to this site).

Glad you could join the flock! Many of us were lurkers before joining I was one for 2 years and so wish I had done it sooner. Lovely mix of birds you have there. You could post some pics of your bird you think is an Orpington in the what breed gender section of the forum ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this

Hi Ali, nice to meet you. I was a lurker for 8 mos. guess I was braver than some others. Glad you joined the flock. If we knew where you posted we could go check it out to be sure you get an answer.
