Hi everyone, I lurked on here about 3 years ago when I first got my girls as chicks. Then I got sucked back into the job that pays my bills. 
I can't believe so much time has passed.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I got my first 3 chicks in April 2018. Soooooo excited for them!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Now I have 5 hens. My original 3
Plus Henny the Agility Chicken who was a "career change" from Chicken Training Camp, and Chickpea who was a rescue from a local farm where she was injured & going to be put down.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Pele = RIR, Kiwa = Ameraucana, TangoTango = Barred Rock, Henny = Brown Leghorn, Chickpea = Cuckoo Marans
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They are so intelligent & sweet & funny. I just love hanging out with them, learning from them, and watching the antics.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Who cares?!
No seriously, I train other animals - mostly dogs & cats. I do some knitting. Love to eat & sometimes even cook. Gardening, although these days it's mostly for the chickens.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a 15 year old white fluffy dog who is the love of my life and we live with my human partner.
I used to work in a large corporation but finally quit last year & became a full time animal trainer & behaviorist. And I'm giving my first online chicken training class next week!! Check it out & give me feedback!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Google search when I was doing research before I got my chicks. I had soooooo many questions & folks here really helped me!
