Further to my earlier question about two broodies sharing chicks, absolutely no problem. They both, one Pekin and one White Silkie are really good mothers and share all duties.

The chicks are Rhode Island Reds so the 'mothers' will get a surprise when they realise how big their 'offspring' are.

Hi Broodytood, Not a good pic. The Bluebells are the greyish hens. They are helping in the garden, free labour!

Hi Jane, I'm a Jayne too. I am originally from England but now live in Arizona. My mum actually bought me a few chicken books from there, nice to see the variations in breeds. Welcome!
 
Hi Jayne, whereabouts in england are you from. My daughter spent 6 years in Texas, been back home about 18 months.
