I'm in the Louisville Kentucky area and have just purchased some chicks and am looking forward to learning more about how to raise these birds. I always look to forums like this when I need to shorten the learning curve on something new to me. I've already noticed the chicken math thread which caused me to laugh because chicken math has already gotten me... but I'll post more in that thread.
