Hello everyone. My wife and I picked up 6 baby chicks 4 weeks ago and are having a blast with them. We look forward to learning a lot more form all of you!!!

Welcome from England. Chicks are great fun and it's a pleasure to watch them develop into individuals.

Tip: Start making a noise before you give them food. I do this, and a "tut tut tut" sound will do. That way, they associate you with good grub and they'll come to you in the future if you make the noise to them. This is handy in case you need to catch one at any time. Mealworms make an excellent treat (although they can upset their tummys a bit.) They love them and making the noise and giving them mealworms will make them LOVE you!

Good Morning YeaDon and Welcome to BYC .. This site has almost every thing any one could ever want to learn about Chickens. But If you find your self with Questions don't Hesitate to ask .. It seems some one is always Willing to help !
