Hi From a Chicken Newbie!

Hello!

I'm wet behind the ears when it comes to raising chickens, so I've been researching insane amouts of sites and came across BYC. What a relief to find everything in one place!

A little about me: my husband and I live in Tennessee, and we're moving out of Nashville to a more rural setting with plans for keeping both meat and egg chickens. I figured, the sooner I educate myself, the more prepared I'll be on the whole experience. I'm super excited to join this community, as all the threads here I've visited before joining have been friendly and very informative.
