Been lurking and realized I hadn’t joined. Just finishing up my coop build in time for building the run this weekend. Picked up 6 golden comets from TSC 6 weeks ago. Have kept them alive this long and semi tame for my wife and 4 yr old who has named his favorite Jack (Jackie being a layer) after his favorite story Jack and the Beanstalk.

Looking forward to continuing to read and learn more here! Up next in learning is bedding in the coop before I put the access door in.

Good for a roof? Was planning hardware cloth for the bottom layer then galvanized fencing above that. This is inside my fenced yard but I still have my dogs and cats to contend with.
