Hi Im Katherine. Also with me on this journey is my husband Rowdy. We got started with chickens after I made a trip out of state without my husband for about 6 months. And upon returning to our wonderful home of 2 joyous pugs. We were plus 1 because he saved a Red Racer hen from a Great Dane. Decided to keep her lol she is wonderful and lays delicious eggs. Fast forward we are setting up our 1st homestead and decided to add. So we purchased 1 cornish boiler and 2 Turkens and 2 Muscovey ducks. They are 7 weeks old at the moment. And since have also taken in 3 cats. 1 of is special needs. Not much to most but a Great start for us. Recently built our coop. My husbands 1st build ever. He is pretty proud and our group loves it. Future plans of build a separate duck garden...near future I hope.
