Not exactly but not miles off. The texture is a bit different.

Kind of in between a firm marshmallow and the white bit on some haribo. Apparently I was thinking of liquorice allsorts, not dolly mix, but I think both of those have the fondanty type sweets. Similar to those too. Sometimes very slightly... grainy..? isn't exactly right but I can't think of a better one, but not in a bad way.

You could chew on a dish sponge until he arrives. Similar texture and probably about the same flavor

like if you had a marshmallow in your pocket for a while and it got squished and compacted and almost turned back into sugar again.
i won't eat another one, but he did laugh!

when i first saw it said foam shrimps, i thought maybe they were little nerf type shrimps that you can throw at people when they're not looking.

Happy birthday to your son! And you deserve a celebration, too, for the day you became a mom. I always think it’s important for moms to get acknowledged on their kids’ birthdays. Motherhood is such an amazing journey, not for the faint of heart!

Also, if you remember (and want to share), I’d love to see pics of your raviolis once finished!

i remembered!
these are them still frozen.

cooked... i used the tomatoes i preserved from the garden for the sauce.

and i made meatballs and some sort of pepperoni salami stuff.
(i don't eat that)

and a banana cream pie
