hi there.. i'm from Alabama and have decided to start my own egg laying hens.. I have 10 .. 1 dominix, 4 golden sex link, 4 production red (they look like rhode island red grown up) and 1 a possible blue andaluisan.. today they turn 9 days old... I got them when they was 3 days old.. I originally had 12 but I lost 2.. which sucked.. I haven't made a coop yet but I've read I have roughly 6 wks to build one so i'm shopping round for good prices.. thanks for having me..
