Mine fly free range all day in the living room and go out in the aviary on warmer summer days ( I am in the UK). Where do yours live?

Mine have in a large cage in a spare room in our house. I hope when the time comes for overnight company, they don't mind budgies

We also have 3 house cats so letting the budgies fly around the house is just asking for trouble.

My quail are free range in the room and aviary too. They used to be scared of the budgies flying but now they are used to it.
Yes a definite no with cats unless you have a dedicated bird room!
