JessOTR, would you mind telling me if you found the older pullets? I am looking at doing the same thing and could use any advice you could give me. Thank you!

I did not. I ended up getting mine from a feed store. I think they were 2 weeks old or so when I go them. There is a place- Old MacDonna's- on Highway 65 between Conway and Vilonia that I am sure has various aged chickens, but I stopped there and couldn't figure out where to go or how to find anybody. It's kind of a mess. I remember I bought a chicken there before, when my now-deceased lab killed a neighbor's hen. If I hear of anything, I'll let you know.

arkansasdaisy, you might check with Circle L Feed & Hardware in Quitman. I have a friend here in Fayetteville who works for a vet supply company and he recommended them.
