Gosh, I have no idea. Maybe a tiny bit mixed in water but I encourage you to post in the Emergencies forum if you haven't already and see what you can find out. Ask about the human grade electrolytes there, too. I just looked up another thread on BYC re: severe dehydration and it was suggested that the hen be given some scrambled egg. In the search bar at the top of the page just type in "dehydration" and see what pops up. I do know you have to be careful with how much water you give and how often. Too much too fast can be a shock to his system and cause more problems. I'm sorry I can't help you further!
