Just introducing myself as a new member. I am 'mother hen' to 3 chooks I raised from eggs. The photo below shows the clear pecking order :-D My black chook is called 'Number One' - simply by being the first to hatch. The name stuck Hence my name.
I have joyfully been assured in a forum (by every reply!) that these 3 are hens (16 weeks) I'm now excited by getting past the 20 Weeks and see them become layers.
