We just received our new babies from Meyer Hatchery:

1 lavender orpington
4 golden cuckoo marans
And the striped lady is a free meal maker, unsure of breed (suggestions appreciated!)

We are new to owning chickens though we've been helping family with feeding theirs.

We are building the coop from plans purchased on etsy and will add a run.

Excited and looking forward to all the info and fun here!
