Hi everyone!

I only recently decided to look further into raising chickens. I'm from the island of Kauai and there, they're a pest. LoL. Here, they may be salvation. Hahahahaha.

I've lived in BIg Lake for just over a year now and I really enjoy it. I'm an entrepreneur and, as anyone who has started a business can attest, at the beginning, you find yourself with lots of free time. LoL.

So, I have taken on two projects right now. Raising chickens and aquaponics. They both sound great and seem to be far healthier options.

Well worth the investment of time and effort.

This is a great resource and I am thankful for everyone here who shares their ideas and hope to be able to be a contributing member one day.

I have to admit, I'm really new to this homesteading and other things like this. I never really had the opportunity being a lifelong renter. We finally got a great place and now I am excited by the opportunities.
