Hi Everyone,

I finally joined. I have been raising my chickens for almost a year now. I have 6 hens and one rooster along with one male 3 month old, two 2 month old hens and some more month and younger chicks and one turkey chick. My Chickens are free range on a 1.4 acre yard and are eating corn ans soy free, organic Scratch n Peck.

I am in Perris in Riverside county.
I hope to have fun here and grow my farm.

Chicks make good "turkey tutors," to show them where feed and water is, etc. In some instances tho exposure to chickens can cause "black head disease," to develop in turkeys. You may want to check on the turkey threads on BYC - in "other backyard poultry forum."

ops, I forgot that part. Im in Perris in Riverside.
