Hi from Cape Cod

Hi, I am new from Cape Cod and I can't believe how amazing this site is!!! The ideas are just incredible, so talented! I love the coop pictures and the brooders,... everyone is so brilliant here. I love knowing that I can start this the right way with everyone elses cultivated experience to guide me on my way.
I brought home 6 baby chicks on Monday, by wednesday I went back and added three more. I am really excited about the whole thing, and today I am thinking of adding a few ducks into the mix. So anyone's suggestions about mixing the two would be so appreciated.

My husband grew up on a farm and so needless too say he is very excited that I wanted to do this.

Cape Cod...now theres a blast from the past. When I was growing up, we'd go to the Cape every year to visit my Grandparents. So many wonderful memories from there.
