I've been popping in to this forum every now and then over the years, usually to look for a clue to some chicken question or another. Thought I'd register and say hello.

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I've had layers and broilers for about the past 8 years.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

I have 17 chickens.

(3) What breeds do you have?

New Hampshire reds, golden comets, black australorps, and a golden laced Polish.

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?

No idea.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

Fishing, hunting, gardening, swimming, hiking

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

We also have ducks, goats, bees and cats.
