Hi, We are new to chickens also. This first batch will be living at our daughter's house and some at a friend's house. We're all learning together and working on coops and raising our chicken IQ as they are growing! I'm helping out and will probably get some here too in time. Right now our big adventure at our own property is a bee hive. We are allowed to have six chickens at each place in town and have Buff Orpingtons and Easter Eggers, Black Majestics, and Isa Brown's. It is all very exciting. A big adventure using $$, and creativity, as we prepare coops and safe areas for them. I know so many people who just love their chickens and we look forward this big step. We've thought about it for a few years and the time seemed right.
